West Coast Fishing With Dave offers
King Salmon Fishing out of Ucluelet. We offer 4 hour

from rivers all over the Western United States and
Canada from California to Alaska and have be known
to grow as large as 80 pounds. The King Salmon,
known to Canadians as the Chinook, is desirable to
sports fisherman for two primary reasons. They are
the largest of all Pacific salmon and can be found
in coastal waters during all twelve months of the
year. Summer runs of mature King salmon begin in May
and continue until late September. In October,
non-spawning King salmon or Chinook, move in and
occupy through until May again. These resident
winter King salmon tend to be found in deeper waters
than their summer counterparts. Typically, winter
King salmon can be found between 100 and 250 feet.
The key to King Salmon fishing is to remember that
they are carnivores. They tend to hunt smaller fish
and dying members of the school. With this in mind,
anchovy or herring strip bait tends to catch more
King Salmon in more areas. With 30 years of King
Salmon Fishing experience, let West Coast Fishing
With Dave guide your adventure
